Our Benefactors
Home Fur-Ever would like to thank the following people & organizations for their past and continued donations and support.
Please visit our website for additional information on our benefactors, including links to their websites!
John A. Hermann, D.V.M.
Dr. Hermann is the wonderful vet that is doing our rescue animal certifications. He is wonderful. He also does a lot of low cost shots and if you are near him, he will do home visits. We are so grateful and want to thank him for his efforts on behalf of the animals and Home Fur-ever.
Providence Hospital
Providence Hospital’s Mike Zelmanski for giving us a great deal on a large used van, which we use to transport our animals and the necessary supplies for our adoption events. Thanks Mike.
Comcast
Comcast is our internet service provider. They give us a discounted rate on our service at our office because we are a non-profit group. Their broadband connection is almost essential when uploading and download and also the web space for all the emails and web related content. If it was not for the discount, we wouldn’t be able to afford their fine service.
Pet Supplies Plus
(Bloomfield, Farmington Hills, Rochester, Shelby Twp.)
For hosting our adoption events, and allowing us to solicit funds through Photos with Santa (also thanks to our Santa’s: Mark Ray, & Jimmy), Easter Bunny, and donation boxes. They have been one of our main adoption locations for a long time.
Petco
(Troy, )
Hosts weekly adoption events and also allows us to solicit donations from customers. Recently, PetCo has been one of our regular adoption event sites. They advertise our upcoming events, and are very accommodating in allowing us space to show our animals.
Petfinder
Petfinder provides webspace and databank, nationwide, for rescue groups to list animals for adoption. A hearty thank you goes out to Petfinder because if it weren’t for them we wouldn’t have the resources to list all our animals for you to see, and in turn find their “fur-ever” home.
A hearty thanks to all of our dedicated foster homes. Because of them, our dogs and cats are socialized and prepared to enter a family environment. Many of these families have other animals, and some of them have children, further preparing our adoptable animals with a more diverse ability to adapt to many different circumstances. Foster homes are one of our most valuable resources, and we really cannot offer enough thanks to the people who have opened their homes to abandoned, abused, and homeless animals. (HINT: New foster homes are ALWAYS needed)
And finally, a HUGE thank you to our founder Marilyn, and all the volunteers who show up week after week, and donate their time to finding permanent homes for these animals so that they will not be forgotten. Without volunteers, this organization could not, and would not, exist.
